The world of Technology Education

Gone are the days when parents would want their children to pursue majors in arts and psychology or other spiritual education disciples. Technology education has been the target for several decades now. The world needs more and more engineers, scientists, physicists and what not! Technology education equips its students with knowledge to relate and change or modify the physical world to meet means. Wheels, pulleys, lever and each and every simple machine is the result of technology education.

However, as the education expands so does the challenges with it. Even technology education has evolved over the years from somewhat a general knowledge of physics and laws of nature to a very specific and narrowed major. More and more people base their studies on a specific field. Electrical engineers are separated into fields of Robotics, FPGA design, power transmission and even more specific fields within them. Technology education is becoming more and more important and having larger and longer effects on the society and the world we live in.

Education Quotes – Motivation or not?

Contrary to popular belief, we need motivation each day. It is like the food we eat. The food gets our body going and motivation gets our willpower going. Education quotes are one motivation that we need regularly. Most students get so fed up of studies, sometimes at the most vital times. Education quotes can help them fuel up their motivation and do well in their endeavors.

Schools should adopt the policy of providing their students with the necessary dosage of education quotes for motivation. This can be as simple as pasting them on notice boards or displaying them via banners etc. Motivation and determination come with a flash, you never know when someone might read the quote you posted and get motivated within an instant.

Education quotes can help student put the extra effort they need to excel in their studies and later become the constructive members of the community. Again, the foundation begins at schools consequently schools should take steps to utilize these quotes.

What the Heck is Gaap?

So you've passed the CPA Exam. Congratulations! You are now a professional accountant. But, along with the honor and distinction, what are the things that are expected from you?

As bearer of the title: "Certified Public Accountant", you are expected to:

- Be unbiased and impartial in reporting financial statements

- Follow a strict personal and professional code of ethics

- Renew your CPA license as dictated in the rules and regulations

- Not practice CPA-related designations in other states unless your title and license is recognized by said state

- Complete a certain number of hours for retraining and take a required number of courses as part of the Continuing Professional Education requirement

Not being able to abide by these requirements may result in suspension or termination of your license to practice. Thus, take caution and always be at your best. Being called a CPA is not only a privilege, being a CPA is a responsibility, as well.

A professional CPA is someone who has passed the CPA exam, as mandated by U.S. Law.

Professional CPAs are mostly employed as financial accounts or as company auditors, responsible for recording, monitoring, and correcting accounts and investigating any problems that may be seen in a company's financial records.

Much like doctors, lawyers, and other professionals, professional CPAs should abide by certain codes and ethics. They must be impartial and unbiased in their analysis. Any violation otherwise may result in either suspension or termination of their license to practice accountancy. Thus, CPAs must always make it a point to take care of both their professional and personal reputation as it would greatly affect their careers.

Professional CPAs make so much more than simple accountancy graduates. Hence, it is important for graduates to pursue their CPA exams and become professional CPAs as well, in order to earn more, and have more opportunities to further advance their respective careers.

Online Jobs – Are They Reliable?

Since finding a lasting work relationship is not that simple anymore, a lot of people turn to the Internet to find online jobs in their area of expertise. It is a good way to keep earning money and be independent while you wait for a better offer to arise.

But just how reliable are online jobs and where can you seek them out? Well, for starters you could try oDesk where it may be a bit harder to get started at first, but should be a piece of cake later on if you know what you are doing. Since reputation is important, serious clients will not betray your agreement and if they are not reliable, you will figure it out on time as it becomes rather obvious.

As with all online jobs, so as with the ones on oDesk, you should not take them on if you cannot complete them. Remember that reputation is probably the most important good you can earn.
